Well here I am at 5 in the morning, having been awake for 3 hours after going to bed with 50 mg trazodone at 10 at night. This is a new pattern, always occurring the night before an exam. 4 hours of sleep, and I'm no worse for the wear. The first 5 or 6 times this happened I was worried I would become manic but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I'm not taking more trazodone or diphenhydramine or doxylamine succinate or GABA or melatonin, etc., because all of them above impair my super math skills if I don't have enough time to sleep them off
So I went to the iTunes store and found an app that supposedly melds your brain waves into alpha, beta, or theta waves, depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
I tried it out and it was pretty cool. All those phantom "floaters" in my eyes started pulsating in time with the sound. I became very relaxed but still didn't sleep. I will try it again tonight.
The app is called "Brainwaves".
