I don't see how the possibility I suggested is logically precluded by what you have written here. If I understand you, the barbiturate was given in conjunction with all of the drugs tested. In any event, you still haven't offered an explanation as to what you are worried about. Even if my suggestion is inconsistent with reality, what are the negative consequences of the effects on the BBB that you suspect nortriptyline might have?
