>I asked my PDoc (who is awful, unfortunately) and he'd never heard of the weight - mg ratio. Some PDocs use it, some don't from what I can gather. Since different people will absorb and metabolize at different rates, according to all sorts of factors, the only way to tell what level of the drug (or its metabolites or whatnot) you have in your bloodstream is a blood serum test I believe.
That said, I don't know what the "best" or "correct" level is. "Until you feel better" is probably widely used!
I'm currently on 75mg Nardil + 100mg Lamictal with the goal of moving to 90mg Nardil alone. Nardil is and (I'm desperately, desperately hoping) will remain my wonder drug. That said, I'm still way off being "well". Hence my goal of 90mg. I figured that 75mg might be giving me partial remission. I've also put on 30lb in weight since going on it, which means 90mg will be spot-on for my weight according to the weight-mg theory.
