In reply to why can't I drink alcohol?, posted by morganator on January 1, 2010, at 1:58:22
it could be a point of persepective the way you see it, psychologically. Sometimes you can just become tolerant to things, and they seem to change. I took Adderall 20mg for a while and worked like the best, but after time...it lost it's effect and I had to go to 30mg twice daily. It's tolerance.
Do you just drink when you get home from work? I had a beer a while ago, and i've got to say this, alcohol and depression are just the worst because it stops nuerotransmitter's from getting somewhere. And also if your somewhere in life where you just have to "have" alcohol, which is understandable and has been done for many years in the past, you may want to ask your doctor about Neurotin, or Ativan [less advised because it's a bit addicting like alcohol, gives the same "ease" alcohol does, expept it doesnt make drunk feelings]
Alcohol makes my face red...and sweat, anytime I drink it that's what happens. This could go away, but just take easy and see what happens then post here again.
