In my experience (not at all the industry's definition) is that the spansule is 'smoother". I do not expereince peaks and valleys. The tabs come on stronger and wear off more quickly. Some people feel more control with tabs. I did not. Of course, I take generics. The brand spansules are supposedly superior to Barr generic.
You can take the spansules less often through out the day.
