I was on Remeron - 30 mg for approximately three years. It worked great as a sleep med. I slept like a baby for three whole years. The drawback for me was the weight gain and my husband said it made me toss and turn all night long. So, I went off of it - which wasn't a pleasant process! However, now, five years later, I desperately need something to help me sleep that doesn't ruin my memory (Ambien). Anyway, when I try to go back on Remeron, it works the first night, but the second night it doesn't put me to sleep and I get terrible RLS. I never had this problem for the three years that I was on it. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Do I just need to hang with it past the two day mark?
