Hey, I just started amitriptyline for the first time too. I responded to celexa at one point and was well for about 3 years. I stopped taking it, then when I restarted it didn't work. I've never tried nardil, but I did try parnate unsucessfully.
Amitriptyline and nardil are very different. Response or failure to one does not predict response or failure to another.
For instance, amitriptyline generally produces less insomnia than nardil.
Keep doing other things which will help you recover. Good diet can go a long way.
