Wlebutrin isnt a ssri,or maoi. Not sure where it falls actualy, but yess as you said me personaly can not tolerate ssris at all.Not a single one
Hi Shasling, was into a million things before, sorry. I can tell you a little about your new meds but not the whole package and sometimes as I've learned its tweaking one thing that makes the difference.
First, I think we're deficient in the same thing, ssri's make me a paranoid mess. Never again. That was from Prozac and 3 days of Lexapro.I couldn't look people in the eye. Parnate took months to work but I think it was dose, not duration. I felt improvement at 70mg, (only once before that when I added 5mg of ritalin) and my new PDoc added 40mg Ritalin. I'm now at 80mg Parnate, 60mg Ritalin, and am currently tapering off Klonpin. I feel almost as good as new. I apperantly have some issues that need to be worked out in therapy....weekly.
My PDoc sees me every 2 weeks for 1/2 hour and keeps really close watch of my blood pressure which is finally normal, 120/80.
I tried Wellbutrin a long time ago for add, small dose ritalin worked better for me.
I liked Wellbutrin, the first week or two you get a huge rush of energy, so get your projects lined up! I had to stop cause it made me irratable in the eves when I was raising young boys. My Dad takes it with Cymbalta and it works for him.
Klonopin I took for nerve pain, I always liked it for that, good for sleep I geuss. I never got that "good" feeling people get from it. Wasn't bad either. Zyprexa I know nothing.
So I geuss thats it. I mailed you a while back. Was wondering about Parnate or something. Mail me if you feel like talking. Again, glad your back.
