Parents can certainly do that and its painful. I'm divorced, I have twin boys 18yrs and my nephew lives with us. One of the boys became pipolar1 and that didn't fit in dad's plan I geuss. He thought he'd beat it out of him. My son didn't talk to him for a year.
I don't know your parents, and they are probably just unenlightened in the world we live in, meaning disorders of the mind. How old are you by the way?Have you ever seen a PDoc or have you stuck with alternative Docs the whole time? are the treatments you are taking for cortisol alternative? Have you ever taken a Psychiatric med? what and for how long? I geuss my point is alternative or not, sounds like it isn't working for ya. When you feel like you did on your first post, It may be time to reconsider some things.
Let me know whats going on!
~Jade-PS what is your dx? sounds like maybe part SP?
