I'm switching over to lexapro as well. I've been on 10mg for 4 days now and it seems much less activating than zoloft.
Anyway, when I started on zoloft years ago I was agitated to no end. It took about a month before things calmed down... I was taking clonazepam as well so that helped somewhat. You should try to stay with it for a couple more weeks at least... you may be a day away from reaching therapeutic relief and a lessening of the agitation.
If things don't improve... or the agitation becomes severe, talk with your doctor.
