provigil works instantly. for people with anxiety it may be worse but if your on Nardil it should really brighten your mood and have your clarity and interests very spiked. prosocial for me. I ve been on many other ad's which did not help my anxiety and provigil made it worse, so i combined it with xanax and it was great as all things said above except xanax+provigil could be quite an addictive combo so i didnt do it much. instead i searched for a more long term med (not there yet)Lithium takes a week or more as you need to get to the right blood level of lithium, constant blood tests at first. usually does a good job at augmenting any AD and usually first to try.
Lamictal augments AD's aswell and has its own antidepressant effect which kicks in around 100mgs/day. this takes along time to work cuz you have to titrate slowly, 25-50mgs/week or you may get a life threatning rash. I crossed my fingers and went to 200mg's in 2 weeks. I did feel an antidepressant effect once over 100mgs. it was awesome. now i dont know what its doing. It has no side effects but the possible rash :)
200mgs of provigil in the morning should be good. and maybe another 100 at noon. maybe more.. who knows. on long trips i have had to take 600 mgs in split doses because nardil made me fall asleep at the weel after just minutes. that much provigil is very stimulating and i felt over the top. probably looked insane with teeth grinding ...
