Allergy causing Anxiety Attacks

Posted by KimStereo on November 14, 2008, at 0:02:41

Is there any truth to this theory ? I googled around as I tend to get more relief from my anxiety from liquid Benadryl than I do from fast acting Xanax. I've never had an allergy in my life, but because my anxiety is of the free floating type and without fear or worry, I'm searching for another cause. Tonight I took a Claritan 10mg tab instead of the liquid Benadryl I usually take. Because Claritan works longer I want to see how I wake up in the morning. If I have no anxiety, than certainly all of this suffering could be due to an allergy. Am I really digging deep here guys ? Is this a shot in the dark ? My anxiety is worse in the morning every day, but it may be because I wake up all congested and with a terrible headache every morning. I think I've been cleared by every medical doctor out there except for an allergist. Any thoughts on this weak theory ?
