Hi.
I am not currently taking Delpin. I believe I was experiencing diminishing returns as time passed. The response was most robust about a month after starting it. For now, I may use it occasionally to cushion the fall during an episodic worsening of depression.
To be honest with you, I am still undecided as to what role Deplin played in my feeling very well last month. Poop-out maybe? I would not have discontinued Deplin had my sleep not been so badly affected. I was having nightmares that ended up in causing me to fling myself off the bed and on the floor practically every night. This stopped happening upon the discontinuation of Deplin.
I guess we will just have to observe the trials of more people to see what therapeutic properties Deplin has in the long term.
I would just like to reaffirm that the benefits of Deplin as an adjunct to standard antidepressants does not become obvious for several months.
So far, Deplin has not found a stable role in my treatment.
