If we all mention it to our pdocs, they may think it actually exists, since as patients we usually know before them what is happening in the Psych world, like with deplin. It's always funny when we can be the one to educate them about new meds or what meds you think might be best for you to try.
Medicine has really changed for patients in that we can be advocates for ourselves and become more knowledgable than patients ever have before. This can only help us become informed consumers and advocates of our own health.
I love this new direction medicine has taken.
