Still having anxiety, but not full blown panic attacks. I am hoping as I increase my dose of Lamictal and Paxil over the next month, the anxiety will get better.

The problem is that I awake after 6-7 hours sleep and can not go back to sleep. Getting up at 4:00am every morning is making me cranky and unable to solidly face the day ahead. And I really do a lot better when I get 9 hours sleep.

Hello,

Lamictal seems to be more stimulating for many users, myself included. I take my whole dose in the mornings. Don't change too many things at once. Antidepressants can exacerbate anxiety with mood disorders, so be very cautious with increases. Hopefuly you will get some good sleep just in time for the holidays.
