> All those stimulants have been out for awhile. Vyvanse is suppose to be different right? I'm confused now. I know it's a form of amphetamine and it's still a schedulell but I thought it was different from the others. If not, why would they make a drug exactly like adderallxr and dexedrine spanules?
There is a difference -- it's that it is formulated to be less abusable. Effective only if swallowed (and the time release helps cut back on the potential "pleasures" of upping that). No effect if snorted, injected, etc. But they scheduled it anyway, just... being how they are. :)
FWIW, I have taken this for about 7 weeks. Low dose to start, 30 MG/day. Pdoc is increasing it because, while if anything I would say it's helping, it's been way too subtle to be sure (and usually almost all drugs hit me harder than they do most). But I am very encouraged, as Ritalin and Adderall (tho I never tried long lasting formulations before) both agitated me big time. And this does not at all, very smooth. And no increase in sleep difficulties at all, which I'm prone to. But the latest I've ever taken it was about 9 AM.
