I saw an article in the paper a few weeks ago that said a study funded by the conservatives showed that there were more prescriptions for Ritalin in recent years than there are children diagnosed with ADHD. The government was proposing a clampdown on Ritalin prescriptions to stop this, and promised an investigation into the treatment and validity of the ADHD diagnosis. So things aren't looking too good for adult ADHD patients in the UK.
