depression - situational or environmental?

Posted by becksFLA on July 18, 2007, at 21:41:07

ive been feeling pretty low lately and my doc and family keep suggesting i consider anti-depressants. however i truly believe this may be because of my crappy life situation. i haven't had a drivers license for 2 years, i have no friends in this new city i moved to a few years ago, my job sucks, and im going through school way too slowly. meanwhile my siblings have flown through college with flying colors. how do i know if it's true depression or, would things get better if my life were to change for the better, which i think it would?
