I think they work, but I just don't like the effect of them (Piracetam or Aniracetam) at all.
And centrophenoxine was even worse.
I just don't like anything that mucks around with acetylcholine/muscarine.
OTOH I have always liked Hydergine, deprenyl, rhodiola and ashwaganda, and feel neutral about vinpocetine.
