I feel that a human being has the right to take or not take these medications.

Nobody fully knows how a patient feels other than the patient.

Doctors are sometimes full of themselves and full of it in terms of their confidence in the efficacy of these drugs.

Sometimes a patient cannot fully explain exactly why they choose not to take meds.

To put into words the neural processes that are turned on or turned off by a certain med is not always possalble.

In addition, there is very little if any evidence that these medications actually do reduce the risk of suicide. Sometimes they increase suicidiality. The bottom line is believe the patient and not the theory.
