I found Remeron very sedating in the beginning, but when the dose was raised to 45 mgs (or more, I am not quite sure), it suddenly became very energizing. It made me very assertive and somewhat agressive, very different from my usual personality.
Reboxetine, on the other hand, made me feel very awake, but in a relaxed and calm way. Very nice after many years of sleepwalking. For a week or two it made me feel almost euforic. Therefore I am a little surprised that it turned you into a zombie. Could it be because I only take 4 mgs? 8 mgs gave me to many sideeffects.
I hope this helps you.
best regards
