MAOI for intolerance to SSRI's and Stimulants?

Has anyone who is intolerant of SSRI's and/or stimulants been able to tolerate an MAOI (including EMSAM)?

Please let me clarify that by 'intolerance', I mean absolutely intolerable side effects (in my case sympathetic overstimulation: chest pain, tachycardia, hypertension).
