Weird symptom/need advice

Posted by JaneB on March 26, 2007, at 13:26:37

Ok, this probably sounds "crazy." I wake up with my arms or legs sticking up. I don't feel rested. I don't know what causes this.
I have taken low doses of various SSRI's off and on for about 10 years, augmented with .50 mg clonazepam. These episodes come and go, lasting for a week or 2 at a time.
Should I increase or decrease meds (after talking to my GP, of course?) I think you would know better than my doctor.
Am I the only one who has had this experience?
It seems to coincide with increased daytime stress/depression/anxiety.
I am in my 60's, active, healthy and happy. Yes I struggle with depression and anxiety but meds and keeping busy help.
This is interfering with my husband's sleep. No, I have not had a sleep study and don't care to have one. Any suggestions? TIA, Jane
