Thanks for the response. Been functioning at 30mg parnate so could increase dosage but take as single dose or forget to take it later in the day. still get teary easy and sleep is poor - also pretty scattered. I think some problems are learned behavior from living one day at a time too long (25 years). Patch would keep dosage more constant and since not maxed on parnate might be able to compensate with larger emsam patch. Still uncertain about % impact on various neurotransmitters. Feel certain, from experience, that I need broad spectrum approach. also, closest I ever got to "normal" was use of zoloft and small dose of benzedrine. Pharmaceutical provider deterred doctor from continuing benzedrine and condition deteriorated on zoloft alone. since it seems selegiline degrades to form of amphetamine, I was hopeful it impacted dopamine in a manner beneficial to my condition. Prior to, an post, amphetamine, sleep has been minimal - sometimes every other night. While on benzedrine I slept normal 6-8 hours and woke refreshed. DO NOT WANT to be on meth or other dangerous type or level of amphetamine but feel the beneficial result may be attainable by a legitimate medication and hoping selegiline might be the answer. Any other comments???
