Ask your doc about Quasense. (I sound like a commercial). Anyhow its a low dose birth control pill, so you dont have a period for like 3 months. If your a single mom, you probably wouldnt have quarrels with birth control (my mother got preggers w/ 3rd child while single and poor), its not like you have to use it for controlling birth. I've found its nice to not have a period for 3 months. Im the pms b*tch. Mixed with the BipolarII, pms is just rage, and crying. The pill quasense has age issues, i think. But, I like it.
> I just had the most terrible time this past week, and it was, of course, the week before my cycle started. I'm currently on 100mg Zoloft, 200mg Lyrica (nerve pain), and 1mg of clonazepam. I lost my job because my position was eliminated (or so the company says) and then when the PMS kicked in one week afterward, I was a raging lunatic and displayed some behavior that my children really should not have had to tolerate (like they had a choice)! I cannot seem to handle stress well, even with the various med combinations I've tried. Is there anything you might suggest? Increasing benzo dose? Adding a mood stabilizer? I'm beginning to feel hopeless again. Maybe I just need to see if I'm finally eligible to get pdoc services for free again.
