MAOIs and collapsed lung

I was talking to a patient at Willow View who like me used to (but no longer does) respond really well to low doses of ADs.
I asked her if she'd tried MAOIs and she said she had and that it had been the only one that seemed to work since she became TRD but she had a bad reaction to it, started shivering really badly and they found that she had a collapsed lung due to the MAOI.
I was wondering what would cause this as it seems such a shame as she had responded well to it.
