Joy of Joys I found a strip of diazepam I didnt know I had so certainly I am hitting this step already!

> Step 2 would be re-assesing your overall situation: do you still need an antipsychotic? if so, would a reduced dosage do the trick? This is where the problem lies, I do think I need an antipsychotic and at the previous reduced dosage I was getting symptoms (hence the dosage increase). So thus my problem is that either I have symptoms or that I have this extreme anxiety, neither is manageable. I have tried taking procyclidine for the akathasia but to get any kind of help I need at least 10mg this gives me painfully dry mouth, unremitting constipation and doesnt hit the OCD type stuff just the akathasia. I can take diazepam but the psychiatrist has unequivably stated that he wont prescribe it.
I guess I need either an antipsychotic which wont cause akathasia or a combination of drugs.Bunny
