I took Paxil for a bit more than 2 years, and I can tell you that I didn't "eat more and more and more..." If that's what happened to you, I'm sorry. But that's not the only scenario with Paxil.
Maxime, I won't lie to you about it -- I did gain weight on Paxil. It was also very effective for me. I don't remember it increasing my hunger, though. I hope you'll consider maybe giving it a try -- if it boosts you out of the hole you're in right now, it might be worth it. Especially since it may be possible to use it to boost you temporarily, then switch you over to another med for maintenance. The weight gain didn't start for me for a while, so that might help avoid ANY weight gain.
