Yea..that's just plain ignorant. Unbelievable! MAOI's definitely are more difficult to use/prescribe do to the hypertensive possibilities..it's so much easier for the pdoc to just hand out ssri's, TCA's etc. MAOI's are too much work for them, yet MAOI's save people's lives every day..me included! This subject just makes my blood boil!!!
