Can't answer this with respect to EVERYONE, but, for me, I gained about 20 pounds. I've been on 10mg for about a year now; it has helped my depression/anxiety somewhat (combined with Prozac) and I've recently added Lithium to my cocktail.

I get my lipid panels and fasting glucose checked every few months to ensure that weight gain is the only adverse effect of the Zyprexa. So far, the blood test results have been fine - chol. under 200 and glucose in the 90s.

Bottom line for me: The weight gain is worth it, given the "calm peace" that Zyprexa has given me a taste of.
