Hi Tep,
I've been wondering about you. You started Nardil and need some ideas for augmentation? I'll give you a list of some below, but please see your Doctor before trying any of them. I wish you well my friend. Hopefully The Chairmen, Scott, and others who have had more experience with Nardil can give you more ideas.1. Lithium - mood stabilizer, 300 - 600 mgs.
2. Thyroid hormone - Cytomel
3. Lamictal - an anti-convulsant also used as a mood stabilizer. Works well with Lithium and at 200 mgs. can be activating.
4. Tegretol - anticonvulsant also works well with lithium.
5.Keppra - anticonvulsant
6. Pindolol - beta blocker
7. Pamelor - heterocyclic AD
8.Zyprexa and Risperdol - antipsychotics
9. Trazodone for insomnia. Works great for my Parnate induced insomnia.
I hope this list helps. These are meds I will consider if I need help with Parnate. Things to keep in mind is always try only one at a time. And never try them without talking to your doc FIRST. Good Luck Tep.
