Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! The interesting thing about the SSRIs is that they seem to work immediately and get me into a hypomanic state where I feel great but within 6 months it poops out. I am thinking I have Bipolar II which is why it's important for me to take a mood stabilizer. After thinking about all the meds I have taken when I see my Psychiatrist tomorrow I am going to ask to get back on Parnate. I was on it 2 yrs ago and it really got rid of my depression but I was unable to stay on it due to insomnia. Hopefully I'll be able to take the Seroquel with the Parnate as it helps me sleep. It's just disappointing the Selegeline didn't work for me as it is similar to Parnate. I did have blood tests which showed my thyroid level was a little low so I do take medicine for that. I just cannot wait to feel myself again and feel happy and confident in life. Depression is just so incredibly debilitating...
