I think everyone would 'suppress' after a while. I'm hoping that when you stop the dexamethasone, your cortisol levels will be lower and you'll feel all the better for it.
While you're taking dexamethasone, you symptoms might be worse due to the dexamethasone itself. Hopefully you'll get an AD effect when you d/c it.
If the dexamethasone does work, I imagine you'll have to take it every few weeks to maintain the benefit. Just guessing.
Hope this makes sense - am feeling a bit out of it on amitriptyline.
