> I took amisulpride, very similar to sulpiride, for a couple months a few years ago. I liked it. It was energizing at first, but then with time became anti-anxiety, pro social, with renewed interest in things. It did take some time though. The only reason I stopped was because it caused really bad sexual probs for me. And even if I wanted to keep taking it, there is only one place online I know of to get it, and I hate to be reliant on a mailorder place half way across the world.
I'm taking Amisulpride right now (dose 50-100mg) with Efexor 75mg.
I share the above statement. It was energizing at first, but then it starts to have an anti anxiety effect + something important : interest in things again, which Efexor does not help.
I'm just afraid of TD& weight gain, even though it is known to very rarely cause those effects,so I do not know if I should stay on it for few months.By the way it has no side effects at all at this dose.Maybe some sedation first few days but thats it.I've tried Sulpiride before and I prefer Ami. Sulpiride was tolerable at 50mg and had good anti anxiety effect but not as good in mood elevation as Amisulpride.Sulpiride at 100mg gave me bad dysphoria.
