I'm curious in the new drug arena what Iloperidone will bring (novel atypical antipsychotic).
My opinion of Ambien CR would be the same as any of these extended release (with the exception of Wellbutrin ER which reduces seizure threshold) that they're patent extenders mostly. Ambien itself can and is being taken up to 20mg for long periods of time actually by patients, though the PDR doesnt recommend it and some GPs are skittish of that idea.
