anyone try augmenting their SSRI with TRYPTOPHAN,

I understand the worry for serotonin syndrom, but it makes sense that tryptophan increases serotonin levels, whereas SSRIs utilize the serotonin that is available.
Seems that a SSRI would be pointless to somebody who is serotonin deficient.

Anyone trying/tried it? What milligrams/grams of tryptophan?
