does LITHIUM FOG go away over time??????????

Hey,
Lithium is the only drug which seems to work for my bipolar depression... But unfortunately, lithium gives me strong cognitive impairment.. Im currently at 900 mg of duralith (slow-release lithium) and lowering the dose doesnt seem to be an option.. have people found that the lithium fog subsides with time?
