My pdoc has said that he's found Parnate to be more effective for depression than Nardil...maybe that has something to do with the fact that it prevents the breakdown of dopamine more potently. He said Nardil inhibits the breakdown of serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine, but didn't mention GABA. I would think that Depakote's more responsible for the dopamine cravings than Nardil, wouldn't you?
