I've been on nearly all of them and found chlordiazepoxide (Librium) to be the easiest to tolerate as far as sedative effects. I used to go back and forth between Librium and Valium several times, and overall preferred the Librium as the least depressogenic benzo. Valium used to clearly depress me, clonazepam also does that, but it suppresses panic anxiety better than any of the others... hmmm.. maybe going back to Librium as a means to get off clon would be a good strategy.. One other thought is clorazepate (Tranxene). Never was scripted that one, it has a long half-life and is lower potency compared to clon, i.e.
