Effexor + TCA is a better combination than Cymbalta + TCA since Effexor is not a potent inhibitor of CYP 2D6. For the same reason Effexor + TCA is a better idea than most SSRI's. But I don't know if Effexor + TCA is any better than relatively non-enzyme-inhibiting SSRI's like Lexapro.
