How about Ritalin, Paxil, or inderal? I think that both inderal and Paxil are prescribed for social anxiety.
Although your doc will not prescribe dexedrine, will she prescribe Ritalin?
Another possibility might be Provigil.
I think that some people get benefits from CBT. For some reason, I don't think very highly of it. But don't go by me.
