Hi Ted!
>But I would prefer 2 weeks.
If I were you I'd probably wait 2 weeks.
>The Nardil that I have got is produced by a british manufacturer called Medeva Pharma. Ltd. Do you know how this compares to the Pfizer new Nardil? Can it be the same?
As far as I know, all the 'new' Nardil products have the same formulation.
>Sounds horrible to switch to a Paxill-ike impotence.
Not as bad as anxiety though! If you try Nardil and don't like it you can always try something else instead. Alternatively, you could use additional medication to treat the side effects.
>I still think that 3 days on the appropriate selegiline dose might not be enough.
If you can withstand the increased anxiety, it might be worth staying on selegiline for a bit longer. Can you cope with selegiline's side effects?
>Would Nardil make me more motivated to socialize?!
It certainly could do! Some people just don't enjoy socialising though, even if they don't suffer from anxiety. Do you think that you'd enjoy socialising if your anxiety was under control?
Would it give me the courage I got on Clonazepam?! Confidence?! What it would help with really?! The avoidance itself?!
Yes, I think it will decrease your anxiety, improve your confidence and reduce your avoidance. When you took clonazepam, what dose did you take? I remember you had side effects, perhaps the dose was too high. Have you ever taken a very small dose of daily clonazepam (or another benzo) for a few weeks?
