Just a guess Dinah..but it seems all t.c. antidepressants are somewhat different from each other, despite common folklore. Amitriptyline is quite sedating, and 25-50 mg's at bedtime has helped me in the past. That is about the best one I can speak up for that I have tried. Just keep on trying, I know it's hard as hell. It *will* pay off...
