Hi -
Been reading these posts for a couple of weeks - finally got up the nerve to ask my own question . . .
Does anyone know if withdrawal symptoms (from Lexapro) are likely to last more than 3 weeks? I am now on Day 26 since my last dose, after having tapered off very slowly under the supervision of my pdoc (I'm guessing that means psychiatrist????) Still feeling nauseated, headachy, and miserable. Saw the doc on Fri and we are thinking now that the continuing symptoms may more likely be symptoms of my depression rearing its ugly head again. I am currently on Wellbutrin XL also - was on 30 mg while I was on the Lexapro. Just increased it to 45 mg as of Saturday (5 days ago) - so far I'm still feeling lousy. I understand that it may take a couple of weeks to feel the effects if there will be any. It's just hard to wait.
The doctor actually suggested that I start on Cymbalta since it works on both the serotonin and the neuroponephrin, but I was hesitant to try such a newly approved medication.
Any educated guesses out there would be greatly appreciated -
