Hello Jeroen,

Since your blinking got worse when you took Akineton (an anti-cholinergic) you might be helped by donepezil (a drug which increases the amount of acetylcholine- it could have the opposite effect to Akineton).

Donepezil can be a useful treatment for tardive dyskinesia. Recently, a little study reported that 9 out of 10 people with TD who were treated with donepezil improved. The brand name for donepezil is Aricept, it is used as a treatment for Alzheimer's disease. You could ask your doctor about Aricept.

Best Wishes,
Ed.
