I know that the histaminergic action has also been implicated in the pro-hunger effects, but I didn't know the 2a receptor was. It would be interesting to know whether or not a drug with a more pure 2a antagonism would cause increased hunger.

>It's more likely to be serotonin 2C receptor blockade that causes an increase in appetite, unfortunately most things that block 2A also block 2C receptors & to some degree type 3 receptors.
