Can hydrocodone interact with A/D meds?

Posted by 4WD on September 12, 2004, at 17:34:39

Does hydrocodone use up all available dopamine and or serotonin? How does it work? It seems that if I take it, the AD effects of my meds are negated for several days, some times more than others. The effect I get from hydrocodone is similar to what I've heard people describe from amphetamines or cocaine but I can't find any literature that explains the mechanism of action that causes this euphoria/spike in motivation/total erasure of anhedonia. Or why for a few days after there is the opposite effect - depression, tiredness and amotivation.
