I am currently on 30mg Lexapro for over 2 months and am unipolar depression free. Like you, I still have some insomnia along with some fatigueness. I tried 22.5mg of Remeron (half of 45mg previous Rx), and was basically groggy for the next 2 days. Perhaps, if I took a lower dose like 7.5mg per your post, I may have better results. Did the fatigueness ever subside with you? And if not, did you take anything to counter the fatiguenss? Thanks.

I have not had any problems with the lexapro except for the insomnia. The Remeron seems to boost the effectiveness of the Lexapro. I hope the switch goes well for you.

Effexor is really difficult to come off but after six years I really want to come off it because since I started Effexor my sex drive has nose dived to zero. I am just trying to develop a strategy and wanted to know if this combination was possible. How has it worked for you? Have you been on Effexor and if so how did you come off?
