This is a subject close to my heart, so I've done some searching. About.com has a few pages with general information about cortisol, so it's worth checking that out, but here are a few more specific links on the topic:
From Psychiatric Times, an article on the role of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis in mood disorders -- it's moderately technical, and really only describes research rather than solutions, but it's still got some good information if you're interested:

http://medg.lcs.mit.edu/courses/6872-S98/presentation/dss3/sld025.htmA lot more information than you really need, but if you scan it you may find some interesting stuff:
http://www.gsdl.com/assessments/adrenocortex/appguide/index.htmlI hope something in these links is helpful, and do let's compare notes on anything anyone finds out that's helpful, 'K?
