In reply to pessimism results from an over active MAO?, posted by 1980Monroe on July 8, 2004, at 19:40:16

If you notice, there's people who are often in bad moods, and dont have real positive goals, and often they input negitive comments to express there misery.

My mom get frustrated very easily, about situations in general, rolls her eyes at everything, sighs constantly from distress, and complains much, and has an additude thats never satisfied with anything.

I at times get like this, i feel like im stuck with nothing to look forward too, and it is miserable. Maybe this is why docs back in the 50's prescribed Miltown to all the house wifes becuase they hated there lives.

Could this be caused from an overactive MAO thats moping up neurotransmitters too fast, destroying optimism?

THis is an abstract post, but i thought i should post it to try to get some awnser, becuase someone's got to know.

THanks

Matt
